“Doug was amazing to work with. I met him at a wedding expo in West Des Moines, and he happened to be free for our date 9/20/2015. We were trying to keep our costs down and he worked with our budget, he did both our photography and videography for us with one assistant over two hours of the day. We got married in Walnut Woods and he knew the location and was able to knock out our post-ceremony pictures quickly, getting us back to the party fast with great results. He was very observant, he got video quotes from different family members, when he realized it was my brother in the band, he made sure to get a couple of songs of theirs on video, which when I saw later made me SO happy (I’d forgotten to tell him it was my brother’s band). And the turnaround was so fast – we had our discs in hand within a month after the ceremony (possibly a week, but I don’t want to talk that up too much, I’m sure it helped that we weren’t married in June). We’ve watched our wedding video at least a dozen times since we got it, and the first time we put it in I called Doug to tell him just how incredibly happy we were with the job he’d done. And now that we’re a year and a half past the wedding, I can say even more that the money we spent on his services was completely worth it – I’d choose Doug again for my wedding in a heartbeat!”

“Doug and his team were so helpful! I had no idea what I wanted for photography and he took the time to sit down with me and come up with a list of the things that were important and developed a schedule for me. Let me tell you, on your wedding day you appreciate a schedule. I was impressed with all of the photos and the timely manner that I received the photos. I don’t know if it was possible for his team to capture anything else at my wedding. I enjoyed looking back at the photos and couldn’t believe how much I missed that day and I am so thankful those moments were caught on photo so that I can enjoy them forever. I loved the sense of humor Doug had throughout the whole day. I was personally nervous and he made the moment light-hearted and enjoyable. I loved all of my photos and the experience on the wedding day but I have one experience that stands out as my favorite. Doug took a picture of each of our bridal party members and printed the photos at the wedding and had the bridal party write a special message on the back. The poses were silly and fun and had something to do with a special moment in our lives together. We were given the photos at the end of the night and it was enjoyable to go home with something that was so personal and that we wouldn’t have ever had if it wasn’t for Doug. I completely recommend Doug for all photos and intend to use him myself for any future photo needs.”
